FireNoise was a multimedia theatre group combining metal percussion, fire juggling, video, pyrotechnics and dance with elements of circus and theatre to form an innovative and distinct form of entertainment.

As Artistic Director I wrote and devised projects ranging from large-scale outdoor events to black light shows and audience-interactive multimedia performances.

Jugannath, FireNoise’s first full-length indoor show, explored the notion of ‘fire demons’ and interwove strands of Hindu religion, alchemical progression and environmental issues. Integral to the story were layered visual and aural effects, an immersive environment and experiments in object manipulation.
