Atomic is a first person educational action-puzzler designed to foster an interest in chemistry.

Designed and developed for my MA in Digital Games Design at the University of Creative Arts, Atomic has a novel molecular construction mechanic that provides varied gameplay, coupled with a strong narrative. It merges the tense action of twitch gaming with an open-ended, non-violent experience that encourages and rewards player creativity.

As part of Atomic’s development process, I modelled and textured almost all of the game world environment to create a small playable prototype in Virtools as well as producing substantial game design documentation.
